Woks on Paper
Soon to be released...
Through stark contrasts and subtle gradients, I depict imaginary semi-abstract landscapes in a state of flux, reflecting impermanence and constant transformation.
Using primarily black and white palettes
along with Japanese paper, inks, acrylics, and sand, I explore the delicate balance between nature's essence and human perception. Layers of texture and depth convey subtlety or strength, roughness and softness, aiming to capture landscapes not just as physical entities but as vessels of meaning and emotion, alongside the ephemeral texture of the paper, evoking the mysteries of existence.
